My interest in textiles and weaving began as a child, when my mother taught me to knit and sew, and my grandmother introduced me to weaving. All my life I have enjoyed using my hands to create, and I also love colour and shapes, the interplay of colours and designs and also the puzzle-solving aspect of creating.

She will demonstrate the techniques on a back-strap loom, answer questions & discussion, and the possibility of arranging for a shaft loom to be used by participants to try their hand at the kushutara techniques.
