Melanie Kobasyashi is the creator of the blog “A bag and a Beret”  http://bagandaberet.blogspot.ca/.

Mel is an expert pattern mixer and vintage celebrator. For me, she seems to have no fear but she tells me that she really is very shy. Mel will share her closet confessions with us and encourage us to be brave with our fibres and our textile creations. Expect to laugh out loud. Here are some of her confessions:

      “My closet is so full I put my skeletons in the dishwasher, on the rinse cycle.”

     “In the dark, I secretly slipped on my pink Fluevog Munster shoes. Now I was ready, ready to be carried away to New York City. (Preparing to watch the documentary on Bill Cunningham, street style photographer of the New York Times, playing at a Vancouver theatre)”
